Laboratory Extruder

The Laboratory Extruder is designed for powder coatings research, formulation development, process trials, and small-scale production. It provides a practical platform for studying the melting, mixing, and extrusion behavior of different powder coating formulations, making it suitable for new product development, raw material evaluation, process optimization, and laboratory-to-production scale-up trials.

The extruder is equipped with precision-machined alloy components and adopts PLC panel control. An anti-backflow design helps minimize material return during operation. The barrel is equipped with circulating water cooling, providing effective temperature management in the relevant processing zones and supporting stable extrusion performance.

An independent cooling system is provided for the gearbox to help control operating temperature. The gearbox is designed with sealed mating surfaces to reduce the risk of oil leakage during operation. The output shaft uses a spline axial locking connection, while a safety coupling is provided between the gearbox and main motor to improve operational protection.

The machine also incorporates overload protection. When the main motor is overloaded, the feeding system automatically stops to help protect the drive system and reduce the risk of equipment damage. With its compact design, precise process control, and small-batch capacity, the Laboratory Extruder is a practical solution for powder coating R&D and pilot-scale process development.
